Make-Make (anciennement Immigration Unit) sort son premier album en 2022.
Après un début très prometteur, le groupe de musique rencontre quelques difficultés avec leur maison de disque. Il décide alors de changer de nom et de sortir son album en indépendant.
Immigration Unit is an eclectic Alternative Rock band, based in Basel (CH). Four musicians from different parts of the World (Basel/Turin/Geneva/Caracas) came together in 2017 with the common goal of breaking boundaries of music genres. Hypnotic, thoughtful and sometimes controversial, IU songs weave together the rhythmic textures and sounds of electronic music with old school guitar-driven-rock riffs, classic aura of a grand piano bound with non conformist lyrics. Pop, rock, folk and electronic music are blended together, shaped in a universal yet multi-layered emotional songwriting. The Unit is now set for the upcoming release of their EP “SOFA HEROES”, while working on the production of the debut album to be released in the autumn 2018. They recently released their single “Wasting Mornings”, followed by a Japanese and Latvian release tour. Thanks to an international touring experience, they can count on a small but really devoted international fan base. Article sur Sofar Sounds.
Cette formation composée de Giovanni Vicari, Noé Franklé, Alvin Schwaar, Jules Martinet et Daniel Somaroo mandate DIPS au début de l’année 2022 pour réaliser leur entité graphique de leur premier album.
